Queer - Elbonian Rhapsody

Four unsung 'musicians' join forces to create the rock group Queer. In John 'Get your' Freakon's spare room, they create a masterpiece entitled "Elbonian Rhapsody" - an ode to the plight of IT professionals struggling in the face of senior management adversity. The song becomes "single of 2008 by the band Queer" when aired on Top of the Pops Basingstoke and the video pushes new boundaries in theatrical excellence.

Elbonian Rhapsody is based on the single "Bohemian Rhapsody" by legendary rock group Queen. In 2008, Rahim Bayjou had the idea of creating a spoof music video and could think of none more iconic than Queen's classic number one hit. With the rest of the team on board, the lyrics were penned and recording was completed in Spring 2008. The video was shot on a summer's day shortly afterward.
