I-TEAM - Bullets Over Basingstoke

In 2001, a group of IT professionals were sent to jail for enlisting a transaction they did not commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Basingstoke underground. Today, still wanted by their employer, they survive as contractors of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, maybe you could hire The I Team...

In the pilot (and currently only) episode, Diamond Partner SCI are being sabotaged by a big corporate called Megasoft. In an attempt to save his business, SCI CEO Mr Martin contacts his old buddy Hannibal Smith, leader of The I Team. In an action packed episode featuring helicopters, car chases and gunfights, they set about ways to defeat their ruthless foe.

The I Team is based on the legendary A-Team, a popular American TV Series aired in the UK in the late 80’s. It continues to enjoy reruns today, and can be found on Bravo (SKY TV). Back in December 2008, Luke Smith and Laurence Newland joked about creating a spoof of the ‘The A Team’. In February 2009 these plans started to evolve and a script was created by Mark Hirst. Filming began in late March 2009 and finished at the end of October, followed by many months of editing and music mastering. The film was previewed in December 2009 with the full theatrical release in January 2010, following the complete recreation of the incidental and soundtrack music by Rahim Bayjou. Coincidently ‘The A Team’ has been turned into a Hollywood movie by director Joe Carnahan. It will be released to cinemas Summer 2010, starring Bradley Cooper, Liam Neeson, Sharlto Copley, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson.
